Fashion has a very colorful history we can always refer to, as they say. What's regale about it is that it enables us to go back to years when we were not even born yet, simply by giving an outfit a touch of vintage.  In doing so, whether you're channeling the 6O's Retro or the 8O's Hippie, you should cut across the timeline and give it a sense of this centuries update or a pinch of your own style, at least.

A plum gold chain detailed kimono, a soft white laced shorts, velvet-ed shoes and top. Mixed with fair amount of accessories -This is me referring to fashion history, kind of and somehow giving my fair share of vintage dressing with a 21st century twist.

P.S

I wore this to Funky Plum Vintage's event last Saturday (more about that in my upcoming posts) and I just realized that I actually dressed like the name of the store, itself. What do you think about this look?

Xx,
Nikki
